Photography

Photography is something I am very passionate about.  I have been taking pictures...LOTS of pictures for as long as I can remember.  I have owned just about every kind of film camera, SLR (film and digital) and point and shoot camera you can think of.

Starting my crochet business encouraged me to work on my skills even more.  It is one thing to take snap shots of my kids playing and enjoying life or even a generic family photo during the holiday's but once I started focusing on taking pictures to show case my work, I noticed the importance of a quality picture.

I met a fabulous photographer, Nicole Renee and she quickly became our go to photographer for family photos.  She is amazing.  As my business grew, we began to work together.  She uses many of my products with her newborn photography.  I took one of Nicole's photography work shops to learn how to use my camera better in manual modes.  I have recently purchased a new camera and I LOVE it!  I still have a lot to learn but I continue to work towards taking better pictures and improving my editing skills.

Along the way I met another great photographer, Tracy Parron.  She has been an amazing support, both emotionally and with my photography.  What a blessing to meet such wonderful people and make new friends.

You will see a lot of my photography work through out this site.  I use my own children a lot of the time to model my products for me and I also try to play around and get some good pictures of them during holidays and special events.
