Bring on the sun ~ Sun Visor

One of my favorite pattern designers is updating a few of her amazing patterns.  I am lucky enough to be selected to test them in the process.

I love this pattern.  It is so simple and FAST to make.  This is the perfect time of year for these too.

I am going to be participating in a craft festival in May, I will definitely be making up a bunch of these.

My boy and his Lego's

My oldest son, Logan, has always loved playing with Lego's.  He learned very early on how to follow the instructions and put together his sets on his own.  First it was the little sets, then the bigger sets..now, I don't think there is anything he can't do on his own.

As much as he loves to build new "sets", he really enjoys just building things using random pieces.  Today was a lego day.  Logan, Gloria and Landon all played together all day, building new designs.  I snapped a few pictures because I just LOVE what he comes up with using just plain ol lego pieces and his imagination.

Logan's lego table with a nice set up.

This awesome vehicle transforms from this set up to a really cool race car. He has it in such a way that it only takes a few changes to change it around.

Cute little table and chairs he set up.

Three wheeler

My awesome builder and his lego table.

This big truck even has a trailer hatch that opens up.

He even made a grill that opens and closes.

This is Gloria's little set up.

Most of his collection.  He has assembled almost all of these by himself.  Yes, he rocks!  :-)

New Love ~ Elizabeth Cloche

Yes, this hat is my new LOVE.  I have been waiting for this pattern to be ready and was so excited to be picked to be a tester.  This is the new Elizabeth Cloche pattern by Crazy Socks Designs.

Here are a few pictures of the hats I picked while testing this pattern.

The purple hat is the first one I made.  It is the 3-6 month size.  It was a little bit small on this 4 month old but it was too cute not to photograph, and so is the sweet little lady.

So, then I made her a new hat that with just a little more length to it.  Gosh she is a cutie!

Finally I got around to making one for my daughter.  I just love this style hat on her.  She is so gorgeous, if I do say so myself.

I ran out of the dark pink yarn just before I was done that part of the hat.  I substituted it with the light pink.  Not exactly what I had originally planned but I kinda like how it turned out!

Enjoying this beautiful day

Spring is in the air.  Finally.  It has been a long and rather boring winter.  We didn't really get any snow, just cold icky weather.  I LOVE the snow but if it isn't going to happen, then bring on Spring.

It is so refreshing to get outside with the kids and the animals and just be together.  After school today, we took the dogs for a walk.

Here are a few pictures from our walk.  Also, you will see my little princess wearing a new hat.  This is the new Elizabeth Cloche by Crazy Socks Designs.  I love her patterns and was lucky to be picked as a tester.  Gloria loves her new hat :-)
